Timothy Mowl
Timothy Mowl is Emeritus Professor of History of Architectural & Designed Landscapes at the University of Bristol and an Honorary Professor in the Royal Agricultural University's Cultural Heritage Institute. He is a leading authority on garden history in this country and the author of over 30 books on architecture, conservation, garden and landscape history.

An exploration of Oxford University’s hidden college gardens, past and present. The college gardens current multifaceted role as a retreat and refuge, as a counterpart to the dense urban grain and as a source of college income will be evaluated.
