Jaff Jaffar
Jaff is an academic at the Department of Biochemical Engineering at University College London. His main teaching interests are in Biochemistry, Medicinal Chemistry and Gene Therapy. His research interests are in the development and commercialisation of anti-cancer agents.
Courses
Medicinal products are developed from nature and may offer therapeutic benefit. This day school is designed to provide an understanding and insight into how medicinal products are discovered and developed into approved pharmaceutical agents for human use.
Metabolism is the breakdown of food to provide energy in every cell in the body in order to function properly. Metabolic-related conditions arise from factors such as diet, lack of exercise and genetics leading to disorders such as diabetes and cancer.
