Positive Psychology for Coaches

Overview

Positive Psychology celebrates the potential of humans, offers discussion on what can be achieved (“what great looks like”), and perspective on how to move towards healthier, happier, more enjoyable lives. As such it offers a new approach to dealing with adversity and coping with stress.

This one-day course examines and demonstrates tools and techniques with a view to taking practical steps for change. From basic foundations to practical tools, this course offers people in the Coaching profession new frameworks for identifying, defining, and moving through adversity into a more positive mindset. Hands-on techniques, models and perspectives which can be used in a Coaching dynamic are demonstrated and included.

Delegates will have the opportunity to consider underlying concepts and theories, and use seminars, discussion and practical work to explore new perspectives and strategies on the day, and use immediately with clients.

Open to people in the Coaching profession, offering CPD benefits, and equipping delegates with hands-on tools to use with clients.

Ideally, pre-reading of the recommended text is advised, but this material will be covered in the course.
