Week 3: The Oxford Experience
Experience Oxford life
The Oxford Experience is a residential summer programme aimed at non-specialists aged 18 and above, providing over 80 week-long courses in a range of subjects. Seminars meet each weekday morning, with afternoons free for course-related field trips, individual study, or exploring the many places of interest in and around Oxford.

Social programme
Alongside the optional and free social activities held throughout the programme, Week 3 participants will be able to purchase tickets to the following social events:
- Walking tours (£10): Choice of one of three walking tours, led by expert local guides. Tuesday afternoon 2-4pm.
- Excursion (£40): Visit to Broughton Castle, a stronghold for Parliamentarians during the English Civil War that dates back to the 14th century. Surrounded by a moat, it boasts impressive gardens, medieval architecture, and Tudor additions. Wednesday afternoon, 1.30-5.30pm.
