Ancient Greek language courses

Our Ancient Greek online language classes combine pre-recorded lectures with weekly live online meetings, where discussion and debate take place between you and the tutor over an 11-week term.
The first meeting will provide an introduction to the online platform (Microsoft Teams), followed by ten classes of language learning. Class sizes are limited to ensure you get the attention you deserve.
Ancient Greek online classes are taught at beginners and lower intermediate levels.

All our classes are developed in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

We gradually move from reading simplified texts (as in AG1) to analysing original passages from some of the greatest ancient Greek authors, tackling challenging grammatical and syntactical structures and learning about ancient Greek thought and culture.
