Susan Griffith
Dr Griffith is a Member of the Faculty of Theology and Religion at the University of Oxford and a Course Director at Wycliffe Hall. She specialises in Applied Theology, early Christianity and patristics.

Get to know a fascinating group of influential women who helped to shape the life and beliefs of early Christian communities. Together we will consider the status and identity of women in society, scripture and the first five centuries of the Church.
Augustine, the famous 5th-century North African bishop: profound philosopher, brilliant writer and preacher, fierce debater. Together we will read a wide selection of his works, including some transcripts of his sermons, to let him speak for himself.
