Piotr Sitek

Piotr Sitek is a seasoned space industry expert with over 20 years of experience in commercial and scientific projects related to space technologies. He joined the European Union Agency for Space Programme (EUSPA) in 2013, bringing with him a strong background in research and industry, having previously worked at the Max-Planck Institute for Solar System Research and the Space Research Centre of the Polish Academy of Science and number of private companies. Currently, Piotr works within the Security Authority Department, where he coordinates security-related Secure Communication activities, with a focus on GOVSATCOM. He holds an engineering degree in Radiocommunication, Navigation, and Optoelectronics, as well as a PhD in Telecommunications, providing him with a unique blend of technical expertise and industry knowledge.
