Manfredi Porfilio

After an experience as an Officer of the Italian Army (1997-98), Manfredi Porfilio started his career as a PhD student and Researcher in astrodynamics at “La Sapienza” (1998-2006). In 2006 he joined the Italian Space Agency where he worked as a System Engineer and Project Manager in different space domains, and gaining experience in complex, dual-use, space systems.
He joined ESA in May 2022, as an End-to-End Information Security Engineer. His main role at ESA is Alternate Information Security Officer for the Connectivity and Secure Communications Directorate.
