Catherine Jewison

Cathy is a life-long fan of the literary ghost story. Currently a doctoral student at the University of Oxford, her research explores the intersection of the Victorian ghost story, Pre-Raphaelite art, and spiritualism. A graduate of Oxford’s Master of Studies in Literature and Arts programme, her dissertation examined the influence of the magic lantern and the projection technique of the dissolving view on the Victorian ghost story and spiritualism. Cathy has experience in group facilitation and holds certificates in adult and continuing education, and online learning design and development.
