Anya Gleizer

Anya Gleizer is a performance artist and a DPhil candidate in the School of Geography and the Environment in the University of Oxford. Working interdisciplinarily, her art and research practices aim to engage communities emotively with environmental research, and challenge the means and methods with which research itself is performed. Gleizer founded the Art, Biodiversity and Climate Research Network in the University of Oxford, teaches art and drama at the Lyceum primary school in Oxford, and works as a public engagement officer at the Natural History Museum, London. In 2022 she, Bill Finnegan and Tina Fawcett began work on the Museum of Climate Hope – a project that unites Oxford museums, libraries and gardens around the themes of environmental resiliency, adaptation and innovation.
