Elizabeth Jamieson
Elizabeth Jamieson is an independent researcher, lecturer and art-historian, with specialist interests in the English country house, decorative arts and horse-drawn carriages. For the past ten years she has been a course director for the Attingham Trust who run onsite study courses for professionals on the care and interpretation of historic houses. She is a curatorial advisor to the National Trust and has researched and catalogued their collection of horse-drawn vehicles and written numerous reports on the historic stables at their properties. Previously, Elizabeth worked with antiques and decorative arts firstly for leading London furniture dealer Partridge Fine Arts and then for Sotheby’s English furniture department.
