Mark Linnell
At the beginning of his career, Mark Linnell served for years as a Calvary officer in the 9th/12th Royal Lancers (Prince of Wales'), service which included postings to Northern Ireland, where he was mentioned in Despatches, and Germany. More recently he served as a trustee of the amalgamated Lancer regiments, now The Royal Lancers (Queen Elizabeth's own).
He is also one of the UK's leading negotiators and mediators. He achieved CEDR (Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution) accreditation in 2005, is ranked in both Chambers UK and the Legal 500, and is a fellow of the Civil Mediation Council.
Mark became a Trustee and the Chair of The Naseby Battlefield Project in 2021.

This event will explore the Battle of Naseby, a turning point in British history. We will explore the battlefield itself (accessing locations not open to the public), why it occurred where it did, and how its participants determined Naseby’s outcome.
