Chef De Partie

£25,138- £31,396 per annum (includes discretionary range)

The Department is currently seeking to recruit a Chef de Partie to prepare high-quality meals and fine dining for events and private bookings, as well as supervising junior staff.
 
About the role
The kitchen team are a small friendly team and produce excellent food, from only fresh products and seek local produce where can.
 
This is a full-time position working 36.5 hours per week, five out of seven days (mostly straight shifts).  The Department operates for 50 weeks of the year and usually closes over the Christmas and New Year.
 
About you
To succeed in this role, you will have previous experience (at least one year) in a Comis Chef role within the hospitality industry. You will also have good culinary skills, good communication skills (both written and verbal), good IT literacy skills (including MS Excel and Word), flexibility and adaptability in your approach to work, and an awareness of health and safety standards and requirements.

Course Administrator

£25,138 to £28,759 p.a.

Oxford University Department for Continuing Education (OUDCE) is seeking to appoint a well-organised and highly competent administrator to join the busy Postgraduate Taught Student Administration team within the Department for Continuing Education.
 
About the role
The Course Administrator will be responsible for supporting the administration of the MSt Practical Ethics programme (which may be subject to change from time-to-time).  You will provide support for the student lifecycle from end-to-end, including dealing with admissions, on-course administration and handling post-course enquiries, such as requests for transcripts.
 
This is a full-time, permanent appointment.
 
About you
You should have strong organisational and administrative skills, a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, be able to work flexibly to deadlines, and possess good interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to work well in a team environment. You will be competent in a range of standard IT applications and be able to learn new IT systems quickly.
